FLASHY men looking for a date are in luck as the newest of online dating sites has been launched – exclusively for those rich enough to own a supercar.

The site enables supercar owners to find dates with women who appreciate fast cars.

Only men owning pricey luxury vehicles such as Lamborghinis, Porsches and Ferraris are allowed to sign up to the dating site, where women list their favorite cars in a bid to snag a rich lover.

The site, SupercarDating.com, aims to put “fine living companions” – or “hot women” to you and me – in the passenger seat next to wealthy single men.

Site creator Sangeeth Segaram – who drives a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 costing around £300,000 – came up with the idea because he said he struggled to find a genuine date despite being a loaded property developer.

“Carrying property deeds and bank statements on first dates is cumbersome, so I conceived the idea that performance car ownership would provide a glimpse of a date’s wealth”.

He said: “I spoke to many female colleagues about online dating and the general consensus was that lots of men pretend to be wealthy.

“Our site enables efficient dating between supercar owners and companions that share a passion for the supercar lifestyle, such as Michelin dining, jet set holidays and high octane experiences.”

But Sangeeth reckons once the fast-lane thrills are over, it’s down to the personality of the potential match to figure whether a date was a success or not.

He said: “Beyond the first 10-15 minutes of a supercar date, the chemistry is down to the humour, charisma and personality of the dates – owning a V12 engine isn’t an antidote.

“No-one needs to date a supercar owner, but it’s a question of whether you would like to try something that’s different. It’s whatever happens on the date that counts.”

Sangeeth recommends that first dates, which would most likely involve alcohol, should not be in the supercars for safety reasons.
