Top mistakes both men and women make

topmistakes

There are indeed enough of the psychological pitfalls we all face when dating. Sometimes it’s just hard to know and tell for sure what’s going wrong, but still, you can always rely on avoiding mistakes of your own (unless you want to have a whole bunch of various problems that no one actually likes to have or face the consequences of them).

So here is the list of the top most typical mistakes, equally relevant for almost all people without distinction of their culture and religion. So, either you prefer Latino dating, Asian dating or any other one, beware the following drawbacks in dating and further relationships.

Discussing your exes

Well, talking about exes is no good as such; it is a forbidden topic, at least, during the initial phase of your relationships. Come to think of it – if you are intended to get to know some person better and have new opportunities for building new commitment, you wouldn’t like to talk much about the previous unsuccessful experiences, right? Of course, if you are sure that you both feel OK about discussing like that and other detailed information about your past – you can do whatever you want, picking your exes to pieces. At least, bring it all to the point where such topics won’t affect your current relationships.

Interrogating your partner

Getting to know each other better should be gradual under any circumstances. Speeding things up and literally interrogating your partner about the things you would like to know about him or her isn’t a brilliant strategy. The best way for you is to show interest by asking about the common interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes, and not just press someone for more information. Let the things evolve in due course, as you get to know someone. Even if you feel pressed for time, learn how to be patient – this is what can be required here.

Ignoring the red flags you see

There is a consequence of red flags or the things that something goes wrong. Your date doesn’t show up at the time when you were supposed to meet? A red flag number one. He/she doesn’t want you to phone at home? Another red flag. There can be dozens of other more subtle warnings, of course, that you might wish to overlook, especially if you are eager to build some long-term commitment, but… In a word, you shouldn’t jump to a conclusion at once, that’s true. Without sufficient evidence the problem that arises for the first time it’s useless. But in most cases an emerging pattern isn’t just something to be taken carelessly.
